YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH ANKITA’S UPCYCLED, HAND-PAINTED FURNITURE AND HOME ACCESSORIES

Our series on local arts takes us to Ankita Jaiswal, who is not just an artiste, but also an entrepreneur.  She is a versatile artist – a sculptor, a painter and a charcoal sketch artist. We love her handprinted furniture, hangers, coasters and trays.

ABOUT ANKITA
Ankita is an artist, an entrepreneur, an environmentalist and a crusader for traditional handicrafts and all of her creations reflect the different roles she plays. Ankita Jaiswal has woven the idea of sustainable living and environmentally friendly designs in all her artwork. Though she has mastered the art of creating art from anything and everything, her forte lies in making art out of recycled and eco-friendly material.

She does hand-painted decorative plates and handcrafted recycled wood coffee tables. One can also expect to find wooden Neem bark coasters, hand – painted wooden hangers, bottles, trays, tissue boxes, napkin holders and even calendars.

The best thing about Ankita’s creations is that they are on display throughout the year at the Brio Art House, so its like a year round exhibit that one can go to.

Location: Brio Art House, Ramada Hotel & Convention Centre, Kanpur Road, Lucknow
