For the best views of the city, and for some great food, you have to visit Sura Vie’s Air Lounge in Gomti Nagar.
THE FOOD
This multi-cuisine restaurant has got everything going for it – their executive chef has been a member of celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s team and is whipping up some delectable dishes. We especially love their Nimbu Mirch Tawa Fish and Veg Platter, which includes beetroot tikkis, mushrooms loaded with cheese, paneer tikka and tandoori broccoli. In fact, their barbecue selection is quite our favourite. They’ve got a little bit of Italian, Thai, Chinese and lots of Indian dishes on their menu.
THE PLACE
While their fine dine restaurant is great for families, we’ve flipped for their roof-top, which is cosy and has a great view of Gomti Nagar from a top. This is just the weather to enjoy this kind of place.
In fact, you can head there for their Christmas Eve party on December 24, when they have a lavish buffet spread with unlimited food and beverages for Rs. 4999 per couple and Rs. 2999 for singles. Or you could opt for the buffet without drinks and that would cost you Rs. 2999 per couple and Rs. 1999 for singles. Kids are charged at Rs. 999 only.
