Sadar’s famous paani ke batashe used to be a temporary stall when it was set up in 1981. Now it’s a full fledged shop that serves the spiciest paani with golgappas. And that’s the name it goes by – Paani Ke Batashe! They have also upgraded to RO water for the paani, and the servers wear disposable gloves while filling the batashas.

Mr. P. T. Raman from Tamil Nadu set up his stall in Sadar market 10 yrs ago. And since then his South Indian food is a hit in Sadar Bazaar. His idlis are filling and served with sambhar, nariyal chutney and sweet chilli chutney. And Dosas are lip smacking! There’s also Vada Sambhar and Uttapam on their menu.
