Growing up in Lucknow, there’s no way you haven’t heard of Priyadarshini – an exclusive exhibition of kota saris in the city. Organised by Sahayata, an NGO that works for the welfare of underprivileged children in Lucknow, Priyadarshini is back this summer with a showcase of their latest range of kota suits and saris, from March 30th to April 5th, 2023.
What to Expect
Priyadarshini has always enjoyed the loyal patronage of the women of Lucknow, who have supported the cause while enjoying the shopping.
The exhibition is passionately curated to enthral you with its vibrant collection of the most versatile fabric – cotton. What you will get here is a carefully curated selection of the finest quality kota suits and saris, and handloom saris with real zari, that are ideal for the hot and humid summers of north India.
You might feel spoiled for choice here, but when you know you are shopping for a good reason, let the shopping be guilt-free!
Sahayata, the NGO needs no introduction after serving the city of Lucknow for 60 odd years. Their work aimed at bringing social empowerment to the underprivileged and is now primarily focussed on education. Powered by the woman force, Sahayata runs its endeavours on funds raised through events and exhibitions. The proceeds from the exhibition will go towards furthering their cause.
