The husband-wife duo of Ashie and Parul are known for using intricate hand embroideries and pastel palettes for both – their Indian and western wear, and using lots of organza in their designs. Their thread and muqaish work is swoon-worthy!
Designer duo Parul & Ashie have added another feather to the city’s cap. They are the first designers to showcase their collection at the prestigious fashion week organised by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). Organised in Delhi in October 2019, Parul & Ashie presented their Spring Summer Collection at FDCI India Fashion Week. Other designers who participated in the event included Anamika Khanna, Manish Arora, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Wendell Rodricks and Shivan & Naresh.
For the FDCI Fashion Week, they put together a collection inspired by the Victorian vintage fashion. Called Rosir, the collection was made up entirely of organzas in colours such as ashen roses, frost grey, blue stone, withered green and vintage parchment. Lace gloves, matching clutches and simple styling finished off the look.
Their collection has won rave reviews in the fashion circles, and just days after the show, South Indian film star Samantha Prabhu Akkineni wore a Parul & Ashie outfit for one of her shoots, which she posted on her Instagram handle. We are pretty sure there will be many more actresses lining up to be dressed in their ethereal clothing.
The best part is that since this is a Lucknow-based designer label, you and I can pick their clothing or customise it as per our choice!
