If you too believe that saree is arguably the most beautiful of all attires, then you will be super excited with this. Dakshinam Sarees is holding an exclusive Sari Trunk Show in Lucknow on December 29-30 at Hotel Clarks Avadh, and you are invited.
WHAT
The Trunk Show will be showcasing an exquisite range of hand-crafted sarees, woven by the most – skilled weavers of our country. Sourced from over 25 communities, Dakshiman Sarees preserves the art of processing natural silk / cotton fibers by employing traditional practice principles unique to each piece. Some of the different types sarees you can pick up at the exhibition are:
- Patola – from Gujarat
- Balucheri – from West Bengal
- Kanjivaram – from Karnataka
- Kovai Kora – from Tamil Nadu
- Jamdani Tussar – from Chattisgarh
- Uppada Silk – from Andhra Pradesh
You can choose froma variety of different materials – silk, chiffon, georgette, cotton, crepe and cotton-skill; each beautifully designed and executed. The colour schemes too are arrived at after due consideration and usually, you won’t find more than two colours in a given design.
