DESI BREAKFAST AT NET RAM’S
Net Ram, famous for his kachori, khasta and jalebi, is the place to go to for a traditional U.P. breakfast. Perhaps, it is only in U.P. that you will find that jalebis are a strictly a breakfast dish. So, most shops don’t make jalebis after 11 a.m.
At Net Ram’s, the jalebis, like all the other items, are made in desi ghee. And they’re available only till 10 a.m. So make sure your lazy breakfast plans are not too lazy. The thali comprises three types of sabzi. There’s Sookha Aloo — a bit spicy because of the amount of green chilly used; Aloo Tamatar Rasedar, another potato dish, but less zesty than the previous one; Baingan ki Sabzi, with a dash of sweetness, and not to forget, the Boondi ka Raita and Aam Kalli ki chutney. All this can be savoured with kachori or khasta, whichever you prefer.
Best time to visit: Though the thali is available all day, breakfast before 11.30 a.m. here is a good idea

SOUTH INDIAN BREAKFAST AT CURRY LEAF
Curry Leaf has only recently introduced a South Indian breakfast. Their Tiffin menu includes South Indian staples like mini dosa, idli and vada, served with sambhar and 3 kinds of chutney, butter milk, malabar paratha with korma. But you can order anything from their menu that you would like to.
Best time to visit: 8 a.m. onwards

ENGLISH BREAKFAST AT BUTTERCUP BUNGALOW
The pretty little English-themed cafe in Lucknow, Buttercup Bungalow serves an assortment of English breakfast dishes amid vintage English décor. They have eggs done several ways: scrambled, Benedict, florentine; toasted breads with butter, muffins, pancakes and crepes along with English breakfast tea. NL recommends you try their Egg Benedict which is a muffin bread with chicken salami topped with poached egg and Hollandaise sauce made from reduced wine. The Corn on Toast is a treat for cheese lovers!
Best time to visit: Their breakfast menu is available all through the day, from 11a.m. to 11.30p.m.

AMERICAN BREAKFAST AT VINTAGE MACHINE
This is a fairly simple meal of American breakfast staples like pancakes, eggs and sausages. Extremely filling, considering that you get a stack of American style, soft pancakes, sprinkled with extra white sugar, and served with Maple syrup, the American way. Two poached eggs according to your preference — sunny side up or double fried, and two perfectly grilled, slightly spicy chicken sausages are included in the breakfast.
Best time to visit: The American breakfast is included in the all-day fare, so anytime between 11 a.m. and 12 midnight is a good time to go.
