The juiciest Chicken Kali Mirch that you will get in Lucknow is at a modest place in Charbagh, called Maharaja Restaurant. The eatery dates back to 1951, but some time in the early 1980s, it split into two. But it managed to sustain the quality of their signature dish, the Chicken Kali Mirch Latpata Dry. The once-upon-a-time famous Palak Paneer and Baingan dishes have now been replaced by the more popular Dal Makhani and Paneer on the menu. While their Butter Chicken and Chicken Fry are also popular, and a Chicken Kali Mirch with gravy has also been introduced on the menu, we can vouch for the Chicken Kali Mirch any day.
The chicken is well cooked, and well seasoned. And finger-licking good!
