CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow is organizing a One Week One Lab Programme from August 14 to 19, 2023. This is a unique initiative of the CSIR to create awareness among the public about the success stories of CSIR and also to ignite the minds of young innovators, students, start-ups, academia, and industry to look for opportunities in the fields of Science & Technology.
The campaign includes events for scientist-students connect, panel discussions on various emerging issues, popular talks by eminent experts, R&D exhibitions and industry meets, among other things. The five R&D areas of the institute, namely Botanic Garden & Floriculture; Plant Diversity, Systematics & Herbarium; Climate Change, Microbial & Environmental Technologies; Plant Molecular Biology & Plant Genetic Improvement; and Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology & Phytochemistry will showcase their R&D achievements during the week-long celebrations.

Day 1: Bonsai and Dry Flower Craft making workshop at Central Lawn, Botanic Garden

Day 2: Visit to Exposition, Herbarium & Exhibition at Central Lawn, KN Kaul block, CSIR-NBRI

Day 3: Inauguration of Exhibition Pavilions of Microbial & Environmental R&D Programmes of CSIR-NBRI

Day 4: Panel Discussion on ‘Technological Leads with respect to the Present Challenges in the Environment & Agriculture Sectors of India’ at CSIR-NBRI Auditorium

Day 5: Poster Competition at Library, KN Kaul Block, CSIR-NBRI
Time: 4.30 pm to 6 pm
Day 6: Workshop on Traditional Recipes (Millets) for Health Benefits at KN Kaul Block Auditorium, CSIR-NBRI
