It used to be the place to go to for South Indian food once upon a time. Though this place is no longer as famous as it used to be, it still has its loyalists.

The modest eatery was started by KP Parmeshwaram Nayar, who came to Lucknow from Kerala and decided to set up a restaurant that dished out South Indian cuisine. Dosas were a mere 2 annas back in the 1950s! The place is now run by his son. Most of their cutomers don’t walk in for a dosa anymore, preferring instead a take-away or home-delivery order (available on Swiggy and Zomato).
