After being suspended for over five months, the Lucknow Metro resumed services from September 7, 2020. The metro will follow the normal timings as earlier, 6 am to 10 pm. But there are a new set of rules for Metro commuters.
Masks are mandatory. If you are not carrying your own, you can buy from the Metro Station
Temperature checks of all commuters is mandatory.
Sanitiser will be available at every gate and commuters are recommended to sanitise their hands on entry and exit from Metro stations.
Aarogya Setu app is recommended for commuters but not mandatory.
Name and mobile numbers of commuters will be noted at Metro stations.
Do not carry any metal items with you to ensure contactless frisking by security personnel.
Only alternate seating inside the Metro will be allowed. Stickers have been put on seats to be left vacant by passengers.
In case the resumption of Metro services leads to overcrowding at stations and in the trains, the authorities may review their decision.
