NETRAM KI KHASTA-KACHORI, JALEBI-IMARTI NOW AVAILABLE IN HAZRATGANJ

Netram and Sons, without whom Lucknow’s breakfast scenes wouldn’t be the same, have opened their new outlet in Hazratganj, at the Tulsi Theatre Complex. Known for their crisp jalebis, khasta & kachoris made in pure desi ghee, Netram’s lineage dates back to 1854-55!

DID YOU KNOW?

Netram was first established in Allahabad, and came to Aminabad, Lucknow in 1920. And what we now see in Hazratganj is the fifth and sixth generation of the family carrying forward the legacy!

Interestingly, in Lucknow will you find that jalebis are available only in the mornings. So, at Netram’s too, garam-garam jalebis are available from 7 am to 12 noon.

Follow it up with a plate of khasta-kachori freshly off the kadhai. The thali comprises three types of sabzi. There’s Sookha Aloo — a bit spicy because of the amount of green chilly used; Rasedar Aloo Tamatar; Baingan ki Sabzi, with a dash of sweetness, and not to forget, the Boondi ka Raita and Aam Kalli ki chutney. All this can be enjoyed with kachori or khasta, whichever you prefer.
Available all day.

Or you could pick the ever favourite khastas and samosas to fill your tummy. For evening cravings, they make fresh imartis and rabri to go with it, if you like. The shop also has other sweets and namkeens to choose from. Imartis are available from 3 pm onwards.

“Even with changing times, we’ve kept the menu the same so that you get the same taste we are known for!” says Aditya Agarwal, a sixth generation Netram who prides himself in running the family business and wishes to grow with it.

We’re headed to the shop to enjoy our ‘dona’ of their mouthwatering jalebis. Join us?
