NBRI LUCKNOW LAUNCHES COURSES FOR GARDENING & BONSAI MAKING THIS JULY

Looking to learn everything about home gardening but don’t know where to start? We have the right info for you. CSIR – National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow, or NBRI Botanical Garden, is coming up with short training programmes this July, designed to help you learn home gardening techniques, bonsai making, and even dehydrated floral craft. Registrations for the courses are now open. Only 25 seats available in each programme. Registrations close on July 11, 2022.

Training Programmes

Home Gardening: A 3-day training programme, from July 18 to July 20, 2022. The programme will give you the lowdown on Garden Tools & Implements, Plant Propagation Principles and techniques, Propagation of Cacti & Succulents, Growing house & seasonal plants, Herbal Gardening, Growing and Maintenance of Garden Roses, Garden Waste Management and Terrace & Vertical Gardening techniques.
Registration fee: ₹3000 (including GST) per candidate.

Bonsai Technique: A one-day training programme on July 21, 2022 with demonstrations on identification and selection of plants for Bonsai making, how to grow your Adenium Bonsai, shaping & pruning techniques, beautification and post planting care of bonsais. 
Registration fee: ₹1000 (including GST) per candidate.

Dehydrated Floral Craft: This is also a one-day programme, on July 22, 2022 which will train you in how to collect, process and dry flowers and foliages with practical demos of how to craete 2D & 3D products using these dehydrated plants, including the care and maintenance of those crafts.
Registration fee: ₹1000 (including GST) per candidate.
