SHRI RAMKRISHNA MATH
Shri Ramkrishna Math will give you that much-needed space for solitude. The central hall is open for all to come for dhyan. There are no meditation classes here, but you will find people here sitting in silence. There’s also a library with over 30,000 books, a children’s section and a youth volunteer programme here.

SATSANG BHAVAN
Also know as Papaji Satsang Bhavan, this places is where the spiritual leader Papaji gave sermons to his followers. The hall at Satsang Bhavan is open for all, with the permission of the manager of the place and can also be taken up for meditation workshops. A smaller room on the premises serves as a meditation room. The calm and soothing vibes of the place make this an ideal place for a relaxing meditation session. A rooftop restaurant with home home-cooked food serves three meals a day, at a minimal cost. A library and guest house facilities are also available at Satsang Bhavan.

PREMALAYA
This Art of Living Centre in Mahanagar welcomes everyone who wants a moment of two of quiet in their hectic lives. If you’re looking for help to meditate and introspect, you can enrol for one of the Art of Living programmes, but even if you just want to meditate al by yourself, you can stop by here in the evenings.

REJUVENATION – A SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION

DHAMMA LAKKHANA VIPASSANA CENTRE
There is a vipassana centre on the outskirts of Lucknow. Though the set-up is simple compared to vipassana centres in more popular destinations such as Dalhousie, but it is more than sufficient for anyone interested in learning these deeply meditative technique. There are various vipassana courses that run here from time to time, and you can access their schedule on their website. They also offer kids’ and teenagers’ programmes.

VEDAS WELLNESS CITY
This is a Tattva Panchakarma Center. Located in Gomti Nagar, this new facility welcomes people to use their aesthetically done up premises to meditate in an atmosphere of peace. They also organise yoga and meditation camps from time to time.
