LA MARTINIERE GIRLS’ COLLEGE, LUCKNOW IS COMPLETING 150 YEARS, AND HERE’S HOW THEY ARE CELEBRATING

One of the most prestigious schools on the city, La Martiniere Girls’ College is celebrating its 150th year this November. The school and its alumni have planned week-long celebrations in Lucknow to mark this momentous occasion, from November 23rd to 30th.

WHAT’S THE PLAN?
> The celebrations will be inaugurated with a Stamp Release on 23rd evening, at 4.30 pm.
> College tours, Swimming and Basketball Competitions, picnic on the College grounds and motivational talks for students are some of the things scheduled during the day time for the next 7 days.
> Past pupils of the school have got together to stage a theatrical adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, on the evening of November 24th, at 5.15 pm.
> There’s a Children’s Fete on November 25th, 4 pm onwards.
> A musical evening by Sharon Prabhakar is scheduled for November 28th, 5.45 pm onwards.
> LMGAA & LMA Annual Reunion Dinner with Dance/Social will be held on November 29th, 7.15 pm onwards. A Coffee Table Book will be released on the occasion to mark the Closing Ceremony on the same day.

All the events will be held on the school campus.

EVERYONE IS INVITED
You don’t have to be a past pupil of the school to attend the events. The tickets for the programme can be bought on the La Martiniere website (link below). Children below 18 years are welcome for the Swimming Meet and Basketball Match. For the fete, boys below 12 years are welcome, and boys above 18 years must be accompanied by the alumni.
