Indian Institute of Management Lucknow’s annual Business and Leadership Summit is coming up this Sunday, January 29, 2023. Organized by the Industry Interaction Cell of the Institution, the one-day event will witness eminent speakers from various domains such as Investment, Consulting, Finance, Marketing, Strategy and Law from across the country addressing the students.
The 2023 edition of the event will host panel discussions, candid conversations and knowledge sessions to draw learning for the attendees. Read on as we introduce the speakers at the event.
Naveen Bansal, CFO Cipla (International Market): An alumnus of IIM Lucknow from the batch of 2015, with Institute rank 1, Bansal currently heads investor relations and is the CFO, International Markets at the well known pharmaceutical company, Cipla. He’s also been featured in BW’s 40 Under 40 list.
Harshad Patwardhan, Chief Investement Officer, Girik Capitals: Patwadhan is also an alumnus of IIM Lucknow (1993 batch). In his role at top positiions JP Morgan and Edelwiss Asset Management, Patwardhan has garnered expertise in wealth management, investing and equities, he has worked at top positions with various leading companies.
Rajan Singh, Founder & CEO at HabitStrong: An Engineer and an MBA, Mr Rajan donned the cap of an entrepreneur in the year 2020 by starting an online habit building program, HabitStrong. Rajan has experience working as a consultant in McKinsey, an investment professional and also as one of the youngest Trivandrum Police Commissioner in the Indian Police Service.
Ganesh Balakrishnan, Co-founder at Flatheads Shoes: Made famous by his appearance on Shark Tank India Season, Balakrishnan has a cumulative experience off 20 years working as Director of Marketing at Honeywell, co-founder of Windsleeve Technologies, Vice President at Shopclues.com and leading Flatheads Shoes.
J Sai Deepak, Supreme Court Lawyer & Economic Times Journalist: A mechanical engineer & litigator, J Sai Deepal has carved a niche for himself as a litigator in civil, commercial and constitutional matters. He has been part of several landmark cases of commercial and constitutional significance before the Supreme Court and the High Court of Delhi. He has also authored two books on India – India That Is Bharat: Coloniality, Civilisation, Constitution and India, Bharat and Pakistan : The Constitutional Journey of a Sandwiched Civilisation.
With experts from such varied fields at SAMVIT, the summit promises engrossing sessions for the attendees. We don’t expect anything less from IIM-L anyway!
