The newly opened restaurant in Lucknow, Dhaba 1986 provides that same authentic Punjabi experience through their menu and fun, kitschy décor! Having acquired its fame from Dhaba by Claridges in Delhi, the restaurant now has several outlets across India. Last month, it opened its doors for the people of Lucknow at the Riverside Mall in Gomti Nagar.
What’s on the Menu?
Dhaba’s buffet lunch is everyone’s favourite – with an elaborate spread of traditional Punjabi food in both veg and non-veg options. With 30+ dishes on the menu, the buffet starts at ₹699 . You can also order from the a la carte menu that offers a collection of North Indian recipes cooked in traditional styles.
We loved their season Special Winter Menu that includes an array of lip-smacking dishes like Sarson Ka Saag & Makke ki Roti, Saag Gosht, Bater Masala, Magaz Masala, Murgh Badami Shorba, Methi Malai Tikka and the halwa-on-the-top has to be the dessert menu with exotic Anjeer and Gajar Halwa! From Lassis to mock tharras, the drinks menu also offers some fun options that you’d like to try just from the sound of them.
