A unique, one-day French film and food festival is happening in Lucknow this April 13th. Organised by Alliance française de Lucknow, the event is part of the bigger Bonjour India Festival 2022 organised by the French Embassy in India to mark the 75 years of Indian Independence.
What’s up?
In Lucknow, the French Movie “Delicious” (2021) that tells the tale of the very first French Restaurant that opened during the French Revolution, will be screened at hotel Lebua Lucknow. During this screening, a French Food buffet will be laid out for the participants.
Who can attend?
The entry to the event is free for members of Alliance française de Lucknow.
A donation fee of ₹750 will be charged per person from non-members. Or, you could book an entire table for 6 persons on a donation of ₹3000.
Since there is limited seating, entry is on the basis of First Come First Serve.

As per the Bonjour India website, “France and India enjoy a substantive partnership at the core of which lie its people-to-people relations, nurtured for decades through collaborations and exchanges. One of its manifestations is the regular rendezvous between our two countries, Bonjour India. This artistic, cultural, educational and social initiative is an Indo-French moment put together by the French cooperation network in India mainly comprising of the Embassy of France and its cultural service, Institut Français en Inde, the Alliance Française network and the Consulates of France.”
