Lucknow is famous for a lot of good food, and cheeseburgers are not one of them! Not if you mean cheeseburgers as the rest of the world means – a meat burger with a slice of cheese. But Exer Club’s Cheese Burger is a dish made of buns, but unique to itself!
This Cheese Burger neither looks like a regular burger nor does it tastes like one. An ultra soft bun hollowed out in the centre and filled with gooey, cheese and white sauce, garnished with butter! And that’s the ultra popular dish from Exer, a fast food joint that became popular in the early 90s, and still enjoys a loyal patronage in Lucknow. It’s officially called LBS Point now, but most people still refer to it as Exer.
This quaint cafe situated at Lal Bahadur Shastri Marg serves a lot of other popular dishes too like Mushroom Sandwich, Paneer Chillie, Momos and other snack items, all at an extremely pocket-friendly rate. They have no sitting arrangement, however, there are tables inside the cafe where one can stand and eat the food.
