Since Mamagoto – the chain of eateries for fun Asian food – opened its doors in Lucknow, it has become our go-to place for Sushi, DimSums, Ramens and so much more! Located in Riverside Mall, Gomti Nagar, Mamagoto is inspired by pop-Asian culture that reflects in the restaurant interiors. Popular Japanese Manga art, quirky furniture and eclectic pendant lights add to the street-style mood of the place.
Mamagoto, literally translated, means “to play with food”. Since 2010 it has been India’s first and only pan Asian café celebrating street hawker cuisine, urban art and manga movement with an “energy box” style of décor.
What’s on the Menu?
Mamagoto has a loyal fan following, especially for its Mama’s Spicy Ramen Bowl. The menu offers a huge list of meals-in-a-bowl option. Stir Fried Udon Noodles, The Laksa Tribute, Spicy Bangkok Bowl, Mamagoto Goreng (their own take on the popular Malaysian dish Nasi Goreng) are some of the other bowls that are super popular.
And then of course, there’s Sushi – with equal numbe rof veg and non-veg options. There are 13 different types of Dim Sum options too, and if you can’t make up your mind (not that we blame you!) just go for the assorted dim sum platter. You will also find salads, grilled fish, prawns, chicken, mushroom dishes for starters, main course and platters as well.
Not to forget, Mamagoto Lucknow has a fully functional bar now, with some of their signature cocktails on the menu apart from the regular spirits.
