Madhav Udyan has been the venue for mango festivals for many Lucknow summers now. This year too, you can expect an experience to relish at the Maeve Mango Fest.
From camel rides that take you on a mini adventure, to classic games like tug-of-war, the festival is designed to keep everyone entertained. You’ll also get to taste more than 40 varieties of mangoes — a true paradise for anyone who loves this seasonal fruit. The festival features a tractor tour to the historic Mall Family Temple, blending history with nature in a unique experience. For those interested in something a little different, there’s a guided meadery tour complete with exclusive wine tasting to add a special touch to the day.
Why it’s Special
One of the special things about this festival is the chance to try the rare Red Ivory mango, also known as the Russian Mango. It’s a unique variety that stands out from the usual ones. Beyond just tasting, visitors can also take home fresh, carbide-free mangoes and jars of raw honey, supporting natural and healthy produce.
