Women may have landed in space, but talking about periods is still taboo in our society. Ladies First – a community for women’s wellness is trying to start a conversation about periods and debunk myths about menstrual health and hygiene.

Understandably, she has several questions about the phenomenon and the sudden changes in her physical and mental being.
Ladies First, is an initiative to make it a little easier to talk about periods. Whether it is PMSing, period acne, knock-on effects of periods, menopause, post pregnancy periods to traveling while menstruating, foods you must have and foods to avoid – they will be covering every aspect in one place. So that, it is easier to find answers to questions often avoided by others, even the women in the family.
Busting Myths
Through their blogs, Ladies First also aims to bust some myths and taboo surrounding bleeding and things that women should and should not do during periods such as restrictions on what women can touch when they are bleeding.
More Facilities
Ladies First plans to not only continue the conversation and dialogue but also eventually offer services that can make life easier for women during the period days.
