The one thing that comes to our mind when we think of South Indian cuisine is dosa! And one of the yummiest dosa places on this side of the Gomti river in Lucknow is the Anna Dosa Point at Kathauta Chauraha.
Anna began his culinary journey in 2016 from a humble thela. He serves hot, delicious and filling dosas to office-goers and college students. So popular has he become among the neighbourhood in this short time, that he has now moved into a small shop, where 10 – 15 people can easily sit and enjoy their dosa.
The dosa itself tastes slightly different from what is available elsewhere, as it is a little on the spicy side. Butthe potato filling is generous and the sambhar, along with its coconut and tomato chutney will have you wanting more!
The menu isn’t very extensive, just your normal Butter Dosa, Masala Dosa and Paneer Dosa, but the taste sure is to the point. When it comes to price, the place is very pocket friendly too – nothing on the menu costs more than Rs. 100.
So if you find yourself hungry and wandering around the suburbs, then you know this is the place you need to visit!
