THE RED TRUCK
Location: Gomti Barrage Road, Near Paper Mill Colony Road, Gomti Nagar
Timing: 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. everyday
Cuisine: Multi
Try this: From momos to rolls, their menu has many favourites. But the must-have is their Trucker Paneer and Honey Chilli Chicken. Their TFC – Truckers Fried Chicken can give competition to the KFC dish it’s inspired from.
HUNGRY SINGH
Location: In front of Ambedkar Park
Timings: 6 pm to 11 pm. Tuesdays closed.
Cuisine: Chinese, Indian
Try this: The truck has some innovative dishes made by the owner himself, which are a must try. Topping the list is the Corn and Nachos Chaat, which is every kind of yummy that spicy can be! Barbeque Chicken Wings, cooked Texas style, is sweet and spicy, and delectable! We love their Barbeque Chicken burger as well. For those looking for non-spicy fare, the fruit shakes and milk shakes are worth a try.
TIM BUCKS TWO
Location: One Awadh Centre, Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow
Timings: 5 p.m. to 10:30 pm everyday
Cuisine: Mexican, Italian, Lebanese
Try this: Try their Cheese Buster garlic bread. The Lebanese Chicken is flavourful, as is their Chicken Shawarma.
FOODIE STATION
Location: A-20 Rotary Club Road, Near Ramkrishna Math, Nirala Nagar, Lucknow
Timings: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays closed.
Cuisine: Multi. Only Vegetarian
Try this: Their desi Chinese. They have recently introduced a barbeque section, which is interesting.
ART OF CHAAP
Location: Gomti Barrage road leading to Paper Mill Colony
Timings: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on all days
Cuisine: Vegetarian Indian and Mughlai
Try this: This truck specializes in vegetarian chaaps, which could easily be mistaken for non-veg. Paneer Chaap is one of their hot sellers. Their tandoor and tava dishes are also a must try.
