Who would have thought that the really simple-looking steamed momo could be reinvented 54 times in one restaurant? But Nainital Momos Season 2 has done it, and made a success of it. You can try their tandoori momos, their pan-tossed momos, their chocolate momos for dessert (!) But if you ask us, we would recommend their Soupee (we would like to spell it as Soupy, but the menu says ‘soupee’) Momos.
WHAT’S THE SOUPEE MOMO ABOUT?
In other words, it’s a choice of 3 vegetarian or 4 non-vegetarian steamed dumplings in a soup. Their Special Dragon Fire momos (veg or non-veg) has our vote, and trust us, it’s not as fiery hot as it sounds. You could also try the Baby Bok Choy momos in a soup or the Soprano variety. Price range: Rs. 120 to Rs. 220 per plate
NL TIP:
The restaurant is simply done up. So if you fancy a fancy place for yourself, just get the momos home delivered.
