There are a lot of burger joints that have come up in Lucknow. Obviously, people love a quick bite on the go, and while hanging out with friends. We decided to find out some of the best international and national burger franchises that have set shop in the city.
McDONALD’s
McDonald’s will always be our favourite because it came first to Lucknow. With their nationwide presence, McD’s has a loyal following for its signature burgers – McVeggie and Maharaja Mac, among others. Following a stand-off between the brand and the franchisees, some McDonald’s shut down and there are only three McDonald’s outlets in Lucknow as per the brand’s official website.

BURGER KING
The American chain came to Lucknow last in August 2019, and has opened three outlets in the city since then, with one right in the heart of the city – Hazratganj. In the first few months, a lot of people thronged the burger franchise to try it out for the first time, and others because they are fans of Burger King.

JUMBOKING
Jumboking, a franchise from Mumbai came with their first outlet in lucknow in 2013, and now has 4 outlets across the city. All the outlet have a dine-in area except the one at Kapoorthala, which is a take-away joint. The menu has a mix of everything from burger, wraps, fries, shakes and more. Each day of the week, comes with its own Burger for the Day, on which they have a special discount. The USP? It is a pure vegetarian place, and maybe the only one we came across, while compiling this list.

BURGER POINT
A popular name in Lucknow now, you are certain to find a Burger Point near you. The place offers good taste at reasonable price. Try their Mutton Crisp and Crunchy Bburger. The burger has a mutton patty glazed with salsa sauce and nachos, making it crispy and unique. Apart from their burgers, we are a fan of their loaded fries too.

WAT-A-BURGER
Another successful franchise, that opened in Lucknow last year is Wat-a-Burger. They have some of the most delicious and budget-friendly burgers in town. The place has vibrant interiors. For us the star of the menu was their Crunchy Double Chicken Burger.
