The India International Mega Trade Fair is always a shopper’s delight, and this time is no different. Organised at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow, this is their 245th show! The fair is on till April 2nd, 2023 with exhibitors coming from 15 Indian states as well as other Asian countries like Thailand, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. The best part? No need to make a mad dash for the fair in the day. Instead, you can comfortably go shop with your friends or family in the evening, as the exhibition is open till 10 pm in the night!
Convenient layout
Three huge air-conditioned hangars have been set up dedicated to three different categories of products. In the first one, you will find a wide range of indoor and outdoor furniture, and lots of home decor and home utility items. Don’t miss the brass artefacts, the solid furniture, the readymade curtains and the home linen in this section.
We also loved the bamboo wood and other crockery available there.
The next section is dedicated to clothing and fashion accessories. Whether you’re looking for ready to wear kurtis, or dress material, you will be spoilt for choice. But what the girls – of all ages – will love is the selection of hair accessories and costume jewellery in this section. From pretty bows and pearl encrusted clips, to evil eye jewellery, hairbands and clutch clips – they’ve got it all!
You will also find dhakai saris from Bangladesh, attars from Dubai and ready to wear clothing from Thailand in this section.
The third section is what’s going to get the mommies excited! With such an array of the best quality dry fruits from Afghanistan, there’s slim chance you can resist buying from here. Pick up not just cashews, walnuts and almonds, but also the dried kiwis, berries, pineapple and apricots that come in vibrant fruit colours.
