The Street Food game in Lucknow is only getting better with so many cuisines and foods now easily available. The newest street food cart we spotted at Puraniya Road, in Aliganj Lucknow is called Pav-licious. Yes, you guessed it right, it’s all about Vada Pavs. But more vada pavs than you can ever imagine! The cart itself is an eye-catcher, with it’s lighted up signage and pendant lights.
The Menu
Who could have thought a vada-pav place could have such a big menu. Their concept is fusion cuisine. So apart from the classic vada pav, there are other versions too. Like the Vadager – which is a Vada Pav + Burger. Or the South-West Vada Pav, with a Mexican flavour. Or the more desi one – the Tandoori Vada Pav. There’s also one with the Italian seasonings, and the super spicy ones.
Bollywood Tadka
On the menu are some interesting Vada Pav variations that get their inspiration from Bollywood. Like Spicy Sunny Leone, a bestseller, by the way – that’s a super spicy version. And Munna Bhaiya, with peri-peri sauce. Dil Jale, that’s sure to cause tingle your taste buds. Kaleen Bhaiya, another bestseller, for cheese lovers.
Star Dish
Pav-licious has been started by three young friends – Ayush, Harshit and Kshitz. Ayush, an IHM graduate, is the chef at the cart. And his favourite dish is Dabeli, a local dish from the land of Kutchh. Do try!
