The National Book Trust, India and the Uttar Pradesh Education Department has set up a book shop at the Lucknow University Metro Station. The Uttar Pradesh Book Promotion Centre, as it is called, was inaugurated on September 6, 2021.
The book centre is strategically located at the LU Metro Station to cater to students at Lucknow University & IT College, who may be commuting through the Lucknow Metro. Students can browse through books on different subjects here such as Science, Art & Culture, books for Competitive Exams, Social Sciences etc.
At the BPC, the books have been categorised by age, with something for all age groups. The Nehru Bal Library includes books for children. There’s a special place dedicated for New Arrivals.
Timings: 9 am to 5 pm
