Let’s make some noise as the stage is set for first season of HONK fest curated by Meesha’s Theatre. The 3-day fest is going to give you all the right reasons to enjoy December in Lucknow with lots of drama and entertainment packed with music, theatre , food, shopping and more from December 16th to 18th, 2022.

Experience some outstanding stories on stage that can win your heart, enjoy scrumptious food and drinks while you sway to the rhythm of the music and indulge in some shopping.

December 16th: Day 1 of the fest has more than 50 schools participating in the Inter School Theatre Competition. The school children will take centre stage as their showcase their theatre artistry and get to interact with a popular RJ from the city. The evening will be perked up by musical performances. Salman Elahi of Mera Dil Kahin Pahadon Mein fame performing live at the event.
Timings: Theatre Competition – 9 am to 4pm; Musical Evening – 5 pm onwards

December 17th: Day 2 will have an Inter College Theatre Competition where about 35 to 40 colleges are expected to participate. The college talent will be in the spotlight to perform on stage. Later a musical evening will enthral the audience at the fest.
Timings: Theatre Competition – 9 am to 4 pm; Musical Evening – 7 pm onwards

December 18th: Day 3 includes local band performances and a musical night. All morning various open theatre groups will perform on stage and present short plays, which will be followed by a dramatic representation of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre by students of Meesha’s Theatre. Catch the Nizam Brothers live at the Sufi Night post the play.
Timings: Jallianwala Bagh – a play – 5 pm to 6 pm; Sufi Night – 6.30 pm onwards

Food Fiesta: If you are here for the events and feel hungry, head to the food stalls. Some popular eateries of the city will be a part of this fest with multiple cuisine options such as Lebanese, Chinese, Asian, Mughlai and more.

Other attractions include a selfie booth and play area with lots of games for all groups. There will be activities and competitions throughout the day. So make sure you go for the crazy theatre fest with great creative energy! Take your family and friends too!
